Frequently asked
Questions about Odoo eCommerce.
Should I use Odoo eCommerce or keep Shopify? +
Keep Shopify if you have invested heavily in its theme, apps, or partner network and the storefront is a major brand surface. Move to Odoo eCommerce if you want fewer systems, deeper inventory and pricing logic, and one customer record across channels. We will recommend on a discovery call.
Can Odoo run a headless storefront? +
Yes, via the REST and GraphQL APIs. We have shipped Next.js and Astro front-ends with Odoo as the commerce backend, particularly for brands that want premium storefront performance.
What about subscription products? +
Subscription products are configurable in Odoo eCommerce with billing cycles, free trials, prorations, and dunning. The Subscriptions module is the engine; eCommerce is the storefront.
How is performance and SEO? +
Server-rendered HTML, semantic structure, schema markup. Performance is good out of the box; great with image optimisation and CDN configuration. We tune Core Web Vitals as part of go-live.
